OPERATION WARRIOR RECONnect

division icons.png

Operation Warrior RECONnect (OWR)  is dedicated to rebuilding self-esteem, confidence, financial freedom, and family relationships in our nation's heroes by providing a one-week program that includes mentoring, educational opportunities, and participation in public speaking forums at Eagles Summit Ranch.

Many of our participants come in search of themselves and do not know what to do with their lives after the traumatic experiences. In addition to the classes, the warriors and their families are provided encouragement and time to adjust to the challenges in their lives.

Operation Warrior RECONnect (OWR) is a cause driven by Dave Roever and the incredible team assembled within the Roever Foundation. OWR has a standing commitment to mending the brokenhearted of our nation with a specific focus to help America’s wounded veterans, first responders, and their families. It is our goal to help these heroes find a new life purpose after enduring hardship through their service locally and abroad.

Feedback from Attendees

“I have to admit, first meeting Dave was hard. He is a burn victim, wounded in Vietnam, but after just saying hello I didn't see the scars from his burns, I only saw a man. We must have talked for about 2 hours and just talking alone made me feel like a human being again. As we talked I kept looking up into the hills at the woods. As a Scout, the woods used to be my home and for the past 6 years, all I've done is urban and desert. So I excused myself and said I'm gonna go for a walk in the woods. I don't have the words to describe how that lifted my spirits. Just me and nature. It brought back feelings I hadn't felt in a long time and I started to smile. Not the fake smile that I usually pass off to everyone, but a genuinely good feeling that caused a genuine smile. So this was basically the first three hours on the first day and already I was feeling pretty lucky I got to go there."  Tim (participant)
